I downgraded glib to the previous 2.2.0, and everything was fine again (after a reboot). Is this just me, or do other people experience it also, and against what should i fill a bug report ? glib or the gnome2 packages, which probably just need a rebuild. Anyway, i just put glib on hold, and everything is fine for now. Friendly, Sven Luther
