I don't think introducing yet another variation on a huge package into the archive would benefit Debian on the long term. Nevertheless, if there were mozilla-gtk1 packages in Debian, I'd be inclined to continue producing galeon1 packages that support it, for as long as galeon2 hasn't been officially released. The mozilla thing is Takuo's call though, as he maintains it.
