In an effort to have a more complete backport, I have decided to backport some applications from gnome fifth toe http://5toe.lyrical.net/.
I have not backported everything, and probably won't, but new some new packages are: meld memprof gtetrinet gnomeicu ticker (packaged as gnome-ticker) gdeskcal gnome-system-tools gok gucharmap gcm (gnome clipboard manager) gpaint totem tsclient I had already backported several apps from gnome fifth toe, sos it stands the fifth toe backport is fairly complete.
