If the version in the archive is higher version, it will get upgraded, if not nothing happen. Since i suppose they are going about this in an sensible way, the package to be uploaded to the archive will either be sean's package or one with a higher version number, so there should be no problem for you. Once you notice that gdm2 has entered the archive you simply drop Sean's source from your source.list, and that's it. Friendly, Sven Luther
