I'm using a mixed unstable/testing desktop. I know it's trivial, but I'm in love with the text thumbnails.
After I moved to Gnome2, all my icons broke, so I followed the advice given in earlier messages to create a gconf key /desktop/gnome/interface/icon_theme with value "gnome". Proper icons came back, but since then, text thumbnails have not worked. Instead, I get a standard text icon, no matter what my nautilus preferences are set to. I have tracked nautilus since, and am now running 2.2.3-1 out of unstable. I have assumed there is something broken about my nautilus configuration, since this seemed to happen just after the upgrade? Any advice on fixing this appreciated. Stephen
