Hi there,... I've a Problem, that looks very funny:
i've installed Debian-Woody in a stable release (bf24) and installed Gnome in the newest Version. Finally,... when i tried to open a Terminal, the System hangs over 2 Minutes and the Terminal freezes. Thereafter, the Terminalwindows closes, and that's it. As a nice Gimmick,... the KDE-Terminal opens correctly in GNOME. So,... what happened and what is the cure? By the way,... during the Installation, apt-get tries to update some Packages, but it tries to update to an older Version. 5 Packages couldn't be updatet. Could this be the reason? And ... what can i do? Greetings Stefan
