How was i to know that these are not the upstream of libgtop2 ?

So, could you give me the email address of Kevin Vandersloot, so i could
write to him ? Err, i just see you CCed him.

Ah, that explains many thing, but still, this is breaking many other
packages :

  gnome-applets2, hardware-monitor, netspeed, seti-applet,
  gnome-system-monitor, gnome-applets, bubblemon.

What would replace it if it is going to die ?
