Running debian and gnome, I did a standard upgrade to in testing. In the past this has never caused a problem and I find sarge to be a very good environment. This time, however, the gdm command hangs indefinately.
I realize I've probably shot myself in the foot somehow, but I'm now sure how. Please explain how to clean up the blood and powder burns, and I'll be out of your hair. Thanks! Tom Lamm
