Hi, I'd like to use 3 special keys for my notebook
keycode 160 = XF86AudioMute keycode 174 = XF86AudioLowerVolume keycode 176 = XF86AudioRaiseVolume So I Put them in ~/.Xmodmap If I select kde in gdm, everything works fine and my 3 keys are defined. But if I start gnome, which I prefer, I get the message you have a keyboard remapping file (.Xmodmap) in your home directory whose contents will now be ignored. You can use the keyboard preferences to restore them. But I can't find any option in keyboard preferences, where I can restore them. Could you please help me. Thx Amir (Debian/SID/2.6.7)
