BTW have an url field in the gtk+ fileselector seems to be a reasonnable option. Thanks again for the quick judgement. BTW, if you have some time one day, please have a look in the BTS for GNOME packages. Just to see the number of bug reported upstream. And while you are here please have a look on GNOME lists and bugzilla too to see the changes which have been made/discussed with upstream (ie: the gconf changes recently made).
