Hello, I sincerely hope this has not been covered yet... if I am wrong, please accept my apologies. I was reading of some things about Nautilus, but no nautilus packet installed at all. I am simply not seeing these 'desktop' icons any longer, which were not there ever before, suddenly popped up, and are then gone again after I re- started my box (I use xinit here, no gdm, so my X was running for some time).
