The devices that HAL adds are not always the same. For example, sometimes USB keys come up on /dev/sda1 and other times on /dev/sdb4 depending on where the device was partitioned and what other devices have been inserted or removed during uptime. The mount points under /mnt/hal/ also are not always the same. (or has this been abandoned in favor of /media/something-consistent-like-usbN) Ryan
