Hi this has plagued me for a little while.
i am running debian etch with gnome 2.12.3 and yelp version 2.12.2-2 i open yelp and it displays nothing except the background image with the topics heading and the red life saver on the left. it has been like this since i installed debian and gnome some time ago now. have googled and searched numerous lists but i can't find anyone with the same issue. i recently installed on another machine and i had the same problem so i figured it can't just my specific setup (on the first machine). i also have another machine where it works with no problems. running yelp from a terminal i get the following: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~> yelp I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/home/takisd/.gnome2/yelp-bookmarks.xbel" (yelp:10337): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_stock_lookup: assertion `stock_id != NULL' failed *** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x0804b8a0 *** I/O warning : failed to load external entity "" on the external entity it refers to above, no that does not exist at the path shown however it also doesn't exist on the machine where yelp works fine so i don't know how relevant that is. has anyone noticed such behaviour before - any ideas on how this can be resolved? thanks.
