Hi there, Just a note to explain what you might think is a mess in the pkg-gnome repository.
I've created a new gnome-2.14 branch below desktop to move desktop/unstable stuff which wasn't really reflecting the status of what's uploadable to unstable. In particular, I've moved eel2, nautilus, and gnome-panel, I might move nautilus-cd-burner. The concept is to rebuild our stack with build-deps ensuring no arch will see -dev packages with Xcursor.la and Xrender.la in some .la file, and hence I've built a list of broken packages on one side, and of fixed packages on the other, and set the build-deps and deps of -dev packages following these lists. The status is that some packages were fixed and reuploaded, some are in progress, and some remain to be done. In particular, eel2 is being built so I'll be able to upload nautilus tomorrow, and nautilus-cd-burner when nautilus is built. gnome-panel is also ready (as nautilus is), but waits for an e-d-s upload. totem is ready, but some changes not related to 2.14 were in progress (browser plugin). I might revert these too to do an upload. What remains to be done is to merge the changes I've done in unstable/ on 2.12 versions in gnome-2.14/ on 2.14 versions. I plan working on this tomorrow, but as the changes conflict with the 2.12 -> 2.14 changes anyway, this doesn't change anything for you. So your beloved 2.14 packages are in gnome-2.14/, and take care not to upload the packages which have not been merged. :) Bye, -- Loïc Minier <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> "You can gtk_main_run, but you can't gtk_widget_hide." --danw, 19-jul-04 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
