Debian 13: A last hurrah for GNOME X11 session?

How is debian going to tackle the possibility of GNOME next release
(48 this march) removing the X11 code entirely? There are plans to
very soon remove it, I recall 47 by default doesn't ship with a
desktop xsession entry. So is debian going to deliberately stick with
47 for debian 13? Because I just don't see the GNOME wayland ready yet
and need to keep sticking around with X until then.
