Hi! Thats my goal too. But I need to run more server-oriented applications like Jini-Framework. Wouldn't kaffe or the jeode-personal-java-edition be enough for your task? I think the blackdown-java needs X to run on the handheld and can't use the framebuffer. By the way, which device are you using and which distribution?
