Dons has just said "The debian-haskell community is active! Help 'em out!" on reddit and I thought I'd help out.
I have been using debian for more than 4 years -- I used redhat before, and I know the basics about how to create debian packages. I have maintained some custom packages for a company before. I jumped into the Haskell world some years ago and at the moment I am working on a Haskell extension on GPUs. Although I still have a lot of things to learn, I think there must be some bits which I could help out with.
