Well first of all we need to wait for the release version of LLVM
(2.7) because that has the patch required for GHC.
I haven't tried it, but from this:

it seems that the ghc doesn't actually need the llvm bindings.
My interest in haskell-llvm is actually for sythensizer-llvm and
the DDC compiler :-).
