I felt like being more constructive, so I did the changes in

I also made it possible to build against a system-installed libyaml
using a flag. I did not set a default, leaving that to your (or to
Cabal, not sure if it is smart enough to use the library if available,
but use the embedded copy otherwise).

@Clint: If Michael uploads that to hackage, can you build against the
packaged libyaml, so that we benefit from security updates?
