Dear Samuel, you previously have worked on GHC on hurd, so I’d like to you give you ah heads-up that we have uploaded a new version of GHC to Debian experimental and it fails on Hurd. It seems that the function "howToAccessLabel" in compiler/nativeGen/PIC is not defined for Hurd.
I also noticed that hurd is not detected by the configure script of ghc and treated as OSUnknown in the enumeration in compiler/utils/Platform.hs. Maybe you want to change that and add a OSHurd there; there is already OSFreeBSD that you might want to take as a template. If you need help with the Haskell syntax or the workings of GHC, #ghc on freenode might be the right channel; I’m likely there as well.
