Dear Jani, you once created a patch against GHC, changing ARM_ISA_EXT="[VFPv3,NEON]" to ARM_ISA_EXT="[VFPv3D16,NEON]". Is that still required in GHC 7.8? Did you submit the patch upstream? And may it be the cause for the build failure at https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=ghc&arch=armel&ver=7.8.20140411-2&stamp=1398720634
