I'm looking at test-framework-quickcheck2 which has issues with QuickCheck 2.8 and GHC 7.10. Upstream accepted a pull request long time ago (https://github.com/haskell/test-framework/commit/bb009e005c8a3d481c0773a038392adc4b442773) but didn't do a release for it.
Until they do, do we use patches for this kind of issues, or do we prefer only 'pristine' libraries? thanks, iustin
