Yes, every new package in Debian has to go through the NEW queue, where
is it reviewed by a relatively small team of members, mostly to ensure
that the licensing and copyrights comply with Debian policies. Hence,
it can sometimes take a while - and hence, my questions about the
copyrights, which they asked about. :-)
