Yesterday, we got an old K250 with 512MB RAM and about 10GB on 4 SCSI drives. We tried to install Linux on it from the palinux-0.9.2 images, but it fails during the boot og the kernels.
I've searched around for problems with Linux and this box, but it seems like we might be one of the first to try it. I found an old posting about someone having the same problems on a K200, with the same kernel fault code as we got. Just have a serial console for it, so I don't have the real log of the booting, but I copyed some of the lines I thought might be of interest on paper. Is there any tweaking of the kernel to do? I have no experience with kernel hacking and even less experience with old HP-boxes, so I don't think I'll ba able to fix this myself.
