We presented HP PA-RISC port at Debian One. I put some slides of your presentation with some notes below. You could find some info. I printed the text of Matthew Wilcox titled One Martini Too Many and Alex deVries' one The Final Frontier that gave us some clues about the start of PA/Linux. I can scan them, if you need but perhaps some ps files still exist?
