Hi Juergen, thx, now it's operational (although a litte bit slow). Found the correct XF86Config-4 file at http://lists.parisc-linux.org/hypermail/parisc-linux/att-8780/01-XF86Config- 4.
Thx again, regards Thomas it should work. http://www.parisc-linux.org/hardware/supported.html gives some very general information. I suppose, X is supported by the framebuffer device. I installed debian "woody" (on a c110) and ended up with X running on the framebuffer. I was surprised how easy it went. Just followed the installation, that's all.
