hello, we have another issue concerning the kernel i wanted you to know: the standard linux kernels from www.kernel.org are not supposed to work.
we must either use the debianized parisc kernels via apt-get on a debian box or download patched kernels from parisc-linux.org... one such kernel is at: http://ftp.parisc-linux.org/cvs/linux-2.4.20-pa21.tar.gz i will be on holidays from friday morning to monday evening. bye, Alex >> but then, the first error... > > Actually, that option only works on i386, so I will change that. > It would be helpful though if you could send me an strace of hwclock > -hctosys on your system, as I would like to see what it uses instead of > /dev/rtc. > > -Brad
