I'm trying to get X running on a 715/80. The X server runs OK using the frame buffer device, etc... but..
First I had problems with xdm not starting, due to colourmap exhaustion. See bug #163935. So I patched the xdm Xresources file to use the black and white logo on 8-bit displays. Now it starts but once I've logged in there are no colours left; everything is grey, white or black.
