Hi, Novice looking for any insight available.
Intially I got as far at the Debian Blue Screen with the continue button, and nothing seemed to activate the continue button. So after some reading it seems like the console has to be changed. My console Path now looks like GRAPHICS(4) I went with 4 as the graphics card is in socket 4 is this too simplistic? I left the console=tty0 but changed '0/vmlinux to '0/vmlinux64 Now I don't get to the blue screen I get a message. Command line for kernel: 'ramdisk_size=8192 root=/dev/ram console=tty0 sti=10/1/3/0 sti_font=VGA8x16 TERM=linux palo_kernel=0'0/vmlinux64' Selected kernel: '0/vmlinux64 from partition 0 Selected ramdisk: /ramdisk' from partition 0 ELF 64 execytabke Entry 00100000 first 00100000 n 4 Segment 0 load 00100000 size 2568152 mediaptr 0x1000 Segment 1 load 00374000 size 722104 mediaptr 0x274000 Segment 2 load 00428000 size 463872 mediaptr 0x325000 Segment 3 load 0049c000 size 49152 mediaptr 0x397000 Loading ramdisk 2663046 bytes @ 3fd65000... Branching to kernel entry point 0x00100000. If this is thelast message you see, you many need to switch your console, This is a common symptom. If I leave the '0/vmlinux as it is I get to the Debian blue Screen but again can't continue.. Any hints suggestions greatfully appreciated.
