Thank you for your answer grant. I have read the posts in the link. Now i know there is an issue with this. It is not clear to my if there is a workaround (like using al older kernel) or i have to wait for a new kernel that fixes this issue. The panic is always produced when the partitions config is writen on disk. I have booted with a gentoo install cd, and i can part and format disk without the panic. I am now trying install manualy steep by steep from the debian installer, skipping the partition menĂº and doing it manualy from a shell, but no luck at this moment. I have found a thread about replacing the kernel, but my problem is during install, i cant replace the live cd installer kernel...
