On second thoughts, this is a bug in guile-1.8-dev, it creates a broken symlink /usr/lib/libguile.so to a missing libguile.so.17.3.1. Probably a typo since it should be a symlink to libguile.so.17.3.0. I'll fix this manually and try a dpkg-buildpackage run.
