-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hi.
This may be of interest to Gordon, since it may save him a little of work. I think that the cross-compilers (and maybe the libraries also) in the hacker's kit should be made available through Debian packages. Trying to experiment a little bit, I have created a Debian package named "binutils-i386-gnu". I decided to name it this way because there are at least two other cross-binutils packages already in Debian which are also called "binutils-foo". If there are some interest, I have put it in: ftp://ftp.unex.es/pub/gnu/hurd/cross-compilers-deb Full source is included. I have tested with GNU hello, and it seems to work. However, I removed the cross binutils and compiled hello again and it happened that the usual binutils in Debian seems to work also. So my silly question of today is: Do we really need a cross-binutils? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3ia Charset: latin1 iQCVAgUBNbD5XCqK7IlOjMLFAQHbVgP8CrDc340MPESbB5TzzUuE3DXw08z98uRX Smxe4X/J7cQHdD/ADDUZQy9cEKY9qd7hFNGc/oAzntzAtR2wbu7rO1uXoBFK678P 8riEy+wR5pmqJtlFq35FrTKsDDJ3gGQozJ9DCPRKHXtDRKVp6hLNw9M5f7vc8lSl zx+hhB7F2nY= =hbgy -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
