But converting tar.gz files into "proper" .deb packages is not very difficult. Take a look at my debian-files.tar.gz at ftp://ftp.unex.es/pub/gnu/hurd/cross-compilers-deb to see how I converted Gordon's GNU libraries into .deb format for cross compiling. I think this type of hacks are better than nothing, and are acceptable enough until we have better ways to create the packages. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3ia Charset: latin1 iQCVAgUBNbmyjSqK7IlOjMLFAQF/hAQAm5cswvoi67MAJUBagBK0cHFDg+G2mKud eT4ljIeUUnP2Dj2rKpZM3x7wnKTGXKzuIyMcvf+uLYyEXoFgkvoiDFvvrdUX/low 7who9mlbXwXJwayHIMCKotNpfHIgj7P73hWEmKuGobNV0nrbOXif1m3QqJQJr0nm MH9teO1MjlE= =Q30o -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
