Arg! Sorry again! No, dpkg-cross is just one of the programs coming with the dpkg-cross package. Under GNU/Hurd, you don't need the "dpkg-cross" program itself. The dpkg-cross package wraps dpkg-buildpackage so you should try: dpkg-buildpackage -a hurd-i386 -B -rfakeroot -- "4a1ed9c26a716c40c402e14363df6ca3" (a truly random sig)
