Hi, I uploaded an experimental version of dpkg to alpha.gnu.org in debian directory.
I can't upload this to Debian site, because the binary-all part dpkg-dev is also different. However, this dpkg does not require "--force-architecture", and does not require some other hacks. Feel free to use it and report problems back to me. It appears that dpkg-source does indeed not work. I am investigating. It is a deeper problem. Thanks, Marcus -- `Rhubarb is no Egyptian god.'
