Hello, I uploaded Hurd and ext2fsprogs, which finally works. Gordon did port it, but the binary in the archive was somehow defunctional. A recompile was the only thing necessary to make it work. Thanks, Gordon!
Hence, I deleted the hurud packages on alpha. Furthermore, on alpha in contrib/marcus are gnumach binary packages with character device support!
