I doubt if the availability of proprietary software for GNU/Hurd is a goal for FSF, I'd rather say the opposite is true -- you won't need a proprietary software. OTOH, I don't see anything comparable, say, to ORACLE, in the near (and not so near) future. Regards, -velco
