This message can probably be ignored. It did add the user to /etc/passwd anyway, didn't it? Is there a user named "login" in /etc/passwd? Or did the Hurd package indeed not configure? Mmmh. Maybe I should recheck my postinst logic. As a quick fix you can comment out the adduser stuff in /var/lib/dpkg/hurd.postinst, it is barely needed. > When I do /sbin/reboot, I get always the message: > ext2fs: hd2s1 not cleanly unmounted, fsck forced Mmh. Yeah. There is something wrong. Try "touch /var/run/mtab" before rebooting. We really need to fix e2fsprogs. Anybody wants to do it? It should assume an empty mtab if noone is to be found. > What am I doing wrong? Could you help me somehow, please? I will double check the hurd postinst before uploading a new version, thanks for remembering me of the problem. I hope I could help you a bit. Thanks, Marcus -- `Rhubarb is no Egyptian god.'
