I was reading some of the notes on the Mach 4 website linked from the GNU Mach web page. (http://www.cs.utah.edu/flux/mach4/html/Mach4-proj.html)
Does GNU Mach contain the "new features" (circa 1997) listed on this page as already being incorporated into Mach? For example, the most-recent HP-PA version of Mach 4 supported: - Migrating threads - Kernel Activations - Presentation/Interface IPC All of these were shown in the literature to have positive impacts on memory use and overall performance.
