I did run ./native-install. I installed HURD according to a howto I found on the internet. I think it was on http://www.crosswinds.net/~gnuhurd. The howto was pretty good, thanks. But when I tried to install some packages with dpkg, I only got this error. It would be quite usefull to have dpkg work;-) Ciao, Michi
