Hello. Yesterday I have successfully installed the Hurd at home, by using the tarball from Marcus and then upgrading using individual packages.
It works great. Congratulations to everybody! Lacking modem at home, I've compiled some packages I maintain and uploaded them today: original-awk_2000-05-25-1 smartlist_3.13-2 wdiff_0.5-9 zip_2.30-1 unzip_5.41-0.1 (non-US/main) None of them required changes at all, so if there is a list somewhere of packages which compile cleanly, these ones are candidates to be added.
