But: - AFAIK I don't share IRQ's (anyway IRQ 5). How can I be sure? If I'm not, isn't this an ISA NE2000 card driver problem, and shouldn't it be documented somewhere? Could someone give an impression on how, and why, IRQ's are allocated; how do the card and the system interact? Just for the matter of education?
