Hello all I decided to give the hurd a try. I'm just a user not a programmer. All seem to go well once I figured out which drive and patition is which. Got the system to boot up.
I used the tar ball method. 20000921 tar file I think. During the second run of native-install noticed message Setting up TCPD /DEV/FD/5: ALL : : Command not found scroll by. The system boots up and runs, seems OK. I was wondering what this message means and if it is a problem I should be looking into to try and correct. Thank you. Dave Slack
