On a side note, my system keeps psuedo freezing while doing an apg-get operations. All the terminals stop working, including the console.. Numlock still toggles the led on the keyboard, and I can still ICMP ping the machine from my linux box.
Any new connections made to the telnet port accept the connection, but no login prompt is issued.... Any ideas? --- Steve Bowman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Sat, Oct 07, 2000 at 09:11:32PM -0700, jc wrote: > > apt-get output: > > bsdutils: Depends: sysvinit (>= 2.59-2) but it is > not > > installable > > > > > > Is there anything to be done about this? > > Learn to use "dpkg -i --force-conflicts <pkgfile>" > when needed.
