Since i upgrade hurd, libc0.2, libnss-db, libdb2 and libdb2-utils dpkg has stopped working.
Im not certain it is related to the upgrade, but am also having problems with the network, ping causes a bus error, ftp and apt also dont work, but i figuregetting dpkg to work is a good start. I get the following error dpkg: parse error, in file `/var/lib/dpkg/available' near line 2 `packaging-manual' value for `status' field not allowed in this context. I removed a few package entries from the available file and get this error irrespective of which package entry is first. Prior to this error i havent touch the file myself. I tried manually putting the new dpkg into place, version 1.7.1.1 i think it is, but get the same error. ideas ? Glenn
