Hi, below is a list of files uploaded and installed in the last two weeks. (I think it is probably not complete, but close to) Most of it is just a regular update of the core and build chain. Noticable are gdb 5.0, binutils 2.10.0.27, glibc 2.2 and gcc 2.95.2.
Two special notes about gnumach and hurd. gnumach 1.2-8 contains a fix that allows it to eject the CDROM. But you need to uninstall the translator for the cdrom isofs and the underlying store. EG: settrans -ap /cdrom settrans -ap /dev/hd3 (where hd3 is your CD ROM drive). That's a work around for now. Later the second command should not be necessary. The Hurd 20001127 contains a new isofs with a load of changes that should fix all remaining bugs with symlinks. If you have a CD ROM you can't read correctly with 20001127, let us know! This should be a boost for the CD people (hi Phil). A new tar file will be prepared soon.
