Thanks to those people who have sent me the lists of what they have installed on their Hurd Machines. I now have the main-line packages.
Would people who have rather specialised systems please send me their lists. "ls /var/lib/dpkg/info >>my_list" does the job nicely. I have discovered uniq which tidies up the list nicely.
