I an working with the packages I call "bins". These are found as *_hurd-i386.deb in pool and in the binary-hurd-i386 tree in the old archive. When the Hurd F2 CDs were built there were 592 of these bins in the Hurd sub-archive. 56 of these were rejected by debian-cd (apt's dependency checking) with the exception of these packages which were deliberately excluded as I have been told that they were broken.
