We have a new dpkg in the archive, dpkg_1.9.17_hurd-i386.deb, date 28 Aug and I am having problems. It will not install, previous versions did with no problems.
Apt complains that it cannot find update-rc.d, in my Linux box this is found in /usr/sbin. apt also suggests that /usr/sbin should be in root's PATH, which it is not. However, putting /usr/sbin in root's path does not seem to help. Has anyone any ideas on how this can be fixed? Thanks.
