As of today there are 2013 Hurd specific binaries (these are "Architecture: hurd-i386" in the control file).
When all the excluded binaries are added as a separate section, the third CD is 580 Mb. 83 Hurd specific binaries are excluded, presumably because of dependency problems. As list of these is attached. (Note that the gnu.org packages are on this list when they should not be.) Hurd specific binaries are now being pushed onto the second CD. The process has been organized so section games followed by graphics are being displaced first. I am not being puritanical, but imho these have far less dependent on them.
